Touchwood Boutique Found A Gap

Daphine Bikaba has researched into an independent retail shop, Touchwood Boutique.

Touchwood Boutique is an independent retail shop in Deepdale, Preston founded and run by designer Fatima Zumla.
Fatima started designing in 1980 making custom-made children’s wear and menswear for high profile clients including Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis.
Today she makes bespoke Asian wear for many occasions from bridal to casual wear. The inspiration for Touchwood came from one of her friends who not only noticed Fatima’s skills in designing but also a gap in the market for Asian fashion in Preston. Fatima then rented the shop space for a three month trial period before leasing the shop after the business went from strength to strength.
Touchwood has now been running for 32 years and has developed an extensive range of customers and brand exposure from various fashion shows.
